Matching the Look and Feel to a Premium Car Washing Experience

The Challenge

The Car Wash Lodge needed a newly designed, responsive website design to better serve their customers. They needed an easy to understand pricing layout, clear areas that show their locations, and a way for customers to inquire about and schedule appointments. They wanted a cohesive color palette to match their logo and other printed branding materials. They also needed an updated lead submission system.

The Outcome

Sokal provided a custom website along with custom iconography, a new color palette, new pricing chart organization, website analytics and tracking, monthly reporting, plus search engine optimization. We created a fully editable form submission system specific to The Car Wash Lodge in order to help customers understand the appointment system and get the information they need to make a decision.

The Car Wash Lodge Responsiveness

The Website Strategy

Sokal began this project by meeting with the owners of The Car Wash Lodge to better understand why they desired a new website design. The first thing our team did was redesign the home page to integrate all of the necessary components users are looking for. The hero area hosts a split call-to-action, providing visitors with the two most popular options to explore. Below the fold, the three main services are showcased so that a customer can quickly navigate to the option they are looking for. After the services, both current locations are displayed so readers are aware they can choose from two different stores to have their vehicle serviced.

The Car Wash Lodge Pricing

Next, we created a new pricing layout that customers could easily navigate. We use iconography catered to each wash package to further differentiate each offer. This way, users can compare each package while also comparing each service and make the best decision on how they would like to service their vehicle.

We also helped develop names for each package that corresponded with national parks.

A new scheduling form was created so that customers can choose whichever detail package they want ahead of time. An integrated calendar and time feature was created so viewers can choose which day they would like to come to the car wash. Lastly, you have the option to choose the location so that both the managers as well as the customer knows the exact store they will be showing up for service.

The Results

Within one month, The Car Wash Lodge more than doubled the amount of detail appointments and monumentally increased sales. Website traffic increased 100% on both desktop and mobile, and detail revenue increased more than 42% in the first month. Retargeting campaigns and SEM ads were put in place to ensure previous visitors would be led back to packages that intrigued them.

The Car Wash Lodge had never been able to receive lead submissions from their website, so the amount of leads is almost incalculable due to the heavy amount of submissions within the first month. The clean and easy to use navigation allows users to quickly find what they need with the best way to get in contact and schedule a cleaning. The Carwash Lodge has been completely thrilled with our Sokal team. In addition to the website we are trying out some other avenues of marketing with Sokal but can’t speak to the results of those newly initiated but we are excited about the relationship we have with the Sokal team and know they will steer the marketing of the Car Wash Lodge to the pinnacle of marketing performance.
